For this reason, their vinifications are slow and natural, based on spontaneous fermentation, with nothing and no one to influence their winemaking methods. In the southwest of Germany, in the heart of the Palatinate, the Von Winning winery finds the best clusters. They have a very wide range of products. Von Winning Deidesheimer Mäushöhle Riesling starts life in Maushöhle, the oldest vineyard in the town of Deidesheim, which is where it gets its name. This site, home to about 30 vineyards, faces southeast with an altitude between 125 and 200 metres above sea level. However, the real beauty of this area, with its stony and calcareous soils, is its proximity to the Haart Mountains, just to the west, which protect the vines from the wind.

Von Winning Deidesheimer Mäushöhle Riesling 2021 is a very subtle and concentrated white wine. it is very aromatic on the nose, with saline and iodised notes mingling with fresh grass. The palate is light to medium, dry and very firm, pure. Refreshing and very juicy, with hints of stone fruit. Dense and mineral finish, very elegant.
