Tasting notes Viñas del Vero Tinto Roble

This young Viñas del Vero is soft, warm and tasty and has a sweet touch. It shows a warm mid palate in which the notes of wood are dominant over the notes of fruit. It has a marked but pleasant acidity and a good finish.

Intense cherry red colour with violet edges. Very nice.

Complex aromas with abundant notes of fresh red and black fruits mixed with notes of undergrowth and sweet spices. Some outstanding notes of black olives and green pepper are also felt on its subtle and elegant floral background.

The palate is soft, well structured and very tasty.

This wine of Viñas del Vero combine intense cherry red color with violet highlights his own youth.

Nose is complex and balanced flavors emphasizing the red fruit with an elegant vanilla reminiscent of his short but successful step-by-cask.

Viñas del Vero is named after a river in the Somontano the foot of the Pyrenees, famous for its gorges and canyons. Viñas del Vero S.A. set in late 1986 with the acquisition of 550 acres in Barbastro and other nearby towns. In 1987 began to replant the land with vineyards of the region's traditional grape varieties (Tempranillo, Moristel, Garnacha and Macabeo), along with others of different origins (Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot noir).
