Viña Salceda Blanco Sobre Lías is a white wine crafted by the renowned winery Viña Salceda under the prestigious DOCa Rioja. This wine is a blend of viura and tempranillo blanco varieties, cultivated in selected vineyards.
 
The grapes used for Viña Salceda Blanco sobre lías are directly pressed, and the must undergoes static settling. The alcoholic fermentation of the different varieties is carried out separately, under a controlled temperature of between 14-16°C. Subsequently, the varieties are assembled, and the wine is aged on its lees for 4 months in concrete tanks, which imparts greater complexity and depth.
 
Located in Elciego, Rioja, Viña Salceda is a winery with over half a century of history, focusing its philosophy on producing contemporary wines that reflect the terroir and rich essence of Rioja, combining tradition with sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. The vineyards of Viña Salceda, situated on the south and southeast slopes at altitudes of 410 to 450 meters, benefit from an optimal microclimate and the refreshing influence of the winds and the Ebro River.
 
Viña Salceda cultivates its vineyards traditionally, using tillage instead of herbicides and manual practices from pruning to harvest. The low yield per hectare and the advanced age of the vineyards ensure raw materials of excellent quality.
