About Viña Eguía Crianza
Viña Eguía Crianza is a red wine from the D.O La Rioja produced by Bodegas Eguía. This winery is a monovarietal of Tempranillo, typical of this region.
The climate has continental and Mediterranean influences. The presence of Sierra de Cantabria cools down the temperatures and mitigates the wind from the north.
The grape for Viña Eguía Crianza originates from calcareous clay soils.
After the harvest, the grapes are fermented according to traditional methods in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature. Before being bottles, Viña Eguía Crianza rests for a year in new American oak barrels.
Bodegas Eguía is located in La Rioja Alavesa, in the town of Elciego, known for its history in relation to wine world.
