In Pedrosa de Duero, where Ribera del Duero has thrived amidst ancient vineyards, harsh winters, and intense summers, Bodegas Vilano has been nurturing a way of understanding wine since 1957, one that is deeply connected to the land and the passage of time. Generations of vintners have tended these vines with the enduring belief: quality begins in the vineyard, and the finest stories are often crafted without haste.
 
Vilano Black is born precisely from this philosophy. It hails from carefully selected old vines of the tempranillo variety, over half a century old, and combines the generous expression of the fruit with a stint in French oak that imparts balance and roundness. It is a flavoursome, pleasant, and straightforward wine, one to be savoured without the need for over-analysis.
