Lustau Vermut Rosé
Vermouth.
Lustau Vermut Rosé offers aromas of wild strawberries, orange blossom and candied fruit accompanied by notes of pastry and almond, and nuances of flowers and herbs. On the palate it has a pleasant sweetness and delicacy with spicy and herbaceous notes. It has a subtle and well-integrated bitterness and a smooth and silky mid-palate.
About Lustau Vermut Rosé
Lustau Vermut Rosé is made with the Palomino, Moscatel and Tintilla de Rota varieties by Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, Spain.
Lustau Vermut Rosé is made with a base of dry and light Fino wine, a sweet and floral Moscatel wine and a lively and elegant Tintilla de Rota wine. It includes botanicals like very aromatic and slightly bitter chamomile, nutmeg to add spicy notes, vanilla to bring aromas and a stimulating touch, and then wormwood, an essential botanical in vermouth that gives the characteristic bitterness.
Bodegas Lustau is a hundred-year-old producer of unique wines that was founded in 1896 by Don José Ruiz-Berdejo, who was a shopkeeper who used his own house to age the wines he made with grapes from his vineyards at the Finca Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza. Today their wines, brandies and vinegars are known around the world.
Lustau Vermut Rosé should be served in a large glass with ice, your favourite tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit. This is a delicate vermouth with a touch of sweetness that makes it original and versatile.
