Torremorón Reserva

Torremorón Reserva is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region produced by Bodegas Torremorón. This wine is made only using Tinto Fino (100%) grapes.

The grapes used to make Torremorón Reserva come from old vineyards, aged between 40-60 years old, located in and around the town of Quintanamanvirgo.

Firstly the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation. The must obtained then macerates for up to a month.

Torremorón Reserva then ages in new french and american oak barrels for 16-24 months. Then, before being put onto the market, it rests for another 12 months, bringing the ageing process close to 3 years.

Bodegas Torremorón is a cooperative founded in 1957 by 57 winemakers. Little by little, winemakers from neighbouring towns joined. Currently, and after a modernization of facilities at the end of the 90´s, Bodegas Torremorón has a great present and promising future.
