About Son Prim Cup

Son Prim Cup is a red wine produced by the winery Son Prim in Sencelles, V.T. Mallorca.

Son Prim is a small family-run winery that started its activity in 2003, with the aim of creating wines with the maximum possible quality from its vines planted in the nineties. The 8-hectare farm has several types of soil, where red clay with gravel and boulders are predominant.

Son Prim Cup is a red wine made from cabernet sauvignon, merlot and syrah.They are manually harvested and placed in boxes. Grapes are selected in the vineyard and in the winery. Maceration for 21 days and fermented in stainless steel deposits. Aged for 12 months in 225-litre French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel deposits. A minimum of 6 months in the bottle.
