Palacio de Bornos was established in 1976, almost concurrently with the emergence of the D.O. Rueda, and since then it has flourished alongside a region where verdejo became the star. Two years later, the winery was ahead of its time, commencing the production of sparkling wines in Castilla y León (Spain), becoming a pioneer of a story that continues today. Half a century on, tradition and innovation continue to walk hand in hand among its vineyards in Rueda, Pollos, and La Seca.
 
Palacio de Bornos Brut originates from grapes of their own vineyards and undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle following the traditional method, with a minimum of 12 months of ageing. The result seeks a balance between freshness and texture, with a clean and lively expression where verdejo imparts its character and the bubbles do the rest. It is one of those sparkling wines that requires little explanation: simply serve it well-chilled and let the glass narrate its story.
