About Moueix Saint-Émilion

Moueix Saint-Émilion is a red wine coupage of Merlot at 85% and Cabernet Franc at 15% from the AOC Saint-Émilion produced by Jean-Pierre Moueix.

Jean-Pierre Moueix is a company founded in 1937 that owns different wineries in the region and distributes the wines of many others. It seeks to ensure that all its wines are elegant, balanced and that they reflect well the different terroirs from which they come.

The vineyards for Moueix Saint-Émilion are planted in limestone and clayey soils. The clay provides depth, richness and generosity. The limestone, elegance, structure and minerality. The wine has been aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.

For Moueix Saint-Émilion the house as chosen the image of the Ginkgo's golden leaves, since they are associated with hope and longevity, balance and elegance. These have been the characteristics that Moueix has wanted to give its wines and that have guided its actions, from the design of the wines themselves to their preparation.
2015 Moueix Saint-Émilion 2015 offers delicate and complex notes of black berries and cherries. On the palate it is noticeable that everything is well integrated, with balanced tannins and a pleasant tension.
