Characteristics Marqués de Cáceres Verdejo
Marqués de Cáceres Verdejo is a white wine from D.O. Rueda made by the Marqués de Cáceres winery. We are talking about a wine made exclusively with the Verdejo variety.
Marqués de Cáceres mainly produces in La Rioja, but some of their wines (as in this case) form part of the D.O. Rueda. The winery has two estates in this denomination of origin: La Seca, which occupies 22 hectares, and Serrada, spread over 102 hectares. They cultivate the white varieties Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc and Viura in these plots.
The vineyards used for Marqués de Cáceres Verdejo grow on gravelly and sandy soils. The climate in the area is continental: the difference in temperature between day and night is usually significant.
Marqués de Cáceres Verdejo is made following traditional methodology. This wine is bottled without being aged.
Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product
Marqués de Cáceres, and especially its founder, Enrique Forner, revolutionized the concept of Rioja wine in the 70s with a business model focused exclusively on quality. An obsession that, even today, remains one of the pillars on which the fifth generation of this illustrious wine family is established. A spirit based on continuous evolution, with a remarkable policy of investment in innovation and technology, but also far from the more or less passing trends. Currently, the wines from Marques de Cáceres are present in more than 120 countries. But, above all, they are the reality that interprets the personal challenge of its founder. His innate sensitivity and his unique vision of the future have made his wines take part in that secret complicity between science, nature, and pleasure, harvest after harvest.
