About Mais de Cunqueiro

This wine is the pure expression of the Galician terroir and its tradition. Made with a very original blend, which is the most authentic reflection of the area as it is made of traditional local varieties only: mainly Torrontes, but also Albariño and Godello. The grapes are manually harvested and selected. They undergo a traditional and separate winemaking, with a cold maceration and a fermentation in steel tanks at about 12-15 degrees. A very elegant and different white wine.

2024 Máis de Cunqueiro 2024 exhibits a brilliant straw hue, promising a refreshing experience. On the nose, one is captivated by the delicate aromas of candied fruits such as pear and peach, balanced with subtle tropical notes of pineapple and an herbal undertone reminiscent of fresh herbs. On the palate, it reveals itself as powerful and fresh, with a delightful fruity sensation evoking green apple and creamy hints suggesting a rich texture. This wine stands out for its vivacity and balance, making it an ideal choice for those seeking to savour a young white wine brimming with freshness and distinctive character.
2010 Very good attack in which the wine quickly coats the mouth with very expressive meaty and flavourful notes of fruit, such as those found in the nose. Very good freshness provided by its good acidity and its great balsamic notes. Long and fruity finish with a light bitter touch. An elegant, rich and expressive wine to be enjoyed at any time.

Bright straw yellow colour with delicate greenish reflections. Clean and slightly glyceric wine.

Expressive aromas, with intense notes of tropical and exotic fruits, mixed with a touch of stone fruit and some very fresh notes of white fruit. Subtle spicy and balsamic touches are also felt along with herbal notes on an intense floral background. A wine with an elegant complexity.
2009 Excellent, wide and embracing attack and a silky, fresh and tasty mid palate. The notes of fruit is now more expressive. Very good acidity that, along with its herbal and balsamic notes, provides this wine with a great freshness. Long finish. A very tasty and enjoyable wine.
