L'Antica Quercia Conegliano Prosecco Superiore Ariò Extra Dry is an organic sparkling wine made by L'Antica Quercia with the Glera native variety in the DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, in Veneto (Italy).
Lying between the high peaks of the Dolomites and Venice is L'Antica Quercia, a wonderful 25-hectare estate nestled in a small hamlet on the Conegliano hills where vines, olive trees and other fruit trees grow together and where nature’s rhythms are followed to produce high quality wines.
L'Antica Quercia Conegliano Prosecco Superiore Ariò Extra Dry comes from vineyards planted on clay soils with an advanced level of decarbonation. These vines are cultivated using organic agriculture and no herbicides or any other chemicals. The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes at the optimum point of ripeness.
In the winery, the L'Antica Quercia Conegliano Prosecco Superiore Ariò Extra Dry grapes are pressed whole and once the must is separated, fermentation begins at a low temperature. Then, following the charmat method, the wine undergoes a second fermentation on lees before bottling.
L'Antica Quercia Conegliano Prosecco Superiore Ariò Extra Dry is a smooth and versatile drink characterised by freshness and a creamy bubble.
L'Antica Quercia Conegliano Prosecco Superiore Ariò Extra Dry 2019 is a fruity sparkling wine with a fragrant nose of ripe citrus fruits mixed with floral notes. On the palate it is unctuous, broad and balanced. A sparkling wine with creamy bubbles, a fresh mid-palate and a deliciously long finish.
