Characteristics Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva

A new classic Rioja, Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva, a red wine made by Bodega Classica. This winery can be found in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, one of the towns with the highest viticulture tradition in the Rioja Alta.
This wine is a coupage of Tempranillo and Graciano grown on old vines with a low yield; planted in poor soils on terraces on the Ebro River.
The harvest is done by hand in October, during the second and third weeks. As for the aging, Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva remains in French oak barrels and in American oak barrels for 20 months. During this period, there is a quarterly racking.
This wine does not suffer from filtrations nor aggressive treatments in order to preserve the natural characteristics of the wine.
Finally, the wine rests in the bottle for a minimum of two years before it is released onto the market.

Tasting notes Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva

Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva 2013 is a complex red wine, with structure and elegance. A good vintage that displays intensity on the nose, blending the toasted notes of aging with the aromas of ripe red fruit. On the palate it is refined, with a certain fullness and a lingering finish.
On the palate it is balanced, elegant and unctuous. Sweet and ripe tannins. A long finish.

Ruby colour with brick red reflections.

On the nose it is powerful, there are ripe fruit aromas accompanied by spicy, balsamic and vanilla notes.
The palate is dominated by fruity sensations and complexity provided by its good ageing. Warming, with an excellent acidity and ripe and integrated tannins. Long and persistent finish. An excellent value red wine.

Clean, intense and sharp nasal aromas. Notes of ripe red fruit stand out, perfectly integrated with spices, leather, earthy hints, roasted notes and light smoky touches.
The palate is dominated by the fruity sensations and the complexity provided during its good ageing. It has a warm mid palate, with an excellent acidity and ripe and integrated tannins. Long and persistent finish. A red wine with an excellent value for money.
