About Goru El Blanco
Goru El Blanco is a white wine produced by the winery Ego Bodegas in Jumilla, D.O.Jumilla.
A few kilometres from the historic centre of Jumilla we can find Ego Bodegas. This project was created with the aim of working with the best vineyards in the area and of achieving the best grapes to produce high-quality wines, loyal to the variety and representative of the area.
Ego Bodegas has 25 hectares of their own vineyards, most of them planted with the local monastrell variety, ungrafted, and with an average age of 50 years.
The climate in the area is continental, with the influence of the Mediterranean to the East and the plateau of La Mancha to the West.
Goru El Blanco is a wine made from moscatel and chardonnay , harvested at night from their own vineyards. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, each variety is vinified separately, fermenting at a low temperature to preserve the varietal aromas. Once the fermentation has finished, the final coupage is performed.
