The grapes for Godeval originate from the 17 hectares of proprietary vineyards owned by Sociedad Godeval, located on slate slopes in the Sil Valley.

The region's climate is continental with a strong Atlantic influence. Cultivation is carried out exclusively using integrated production techniques that respect the ecosystem.
