Dönnhoff Riesling is a dry, white, single-variety Riesling wine made by the Dönnhoff winery, in the Nahe Valley, Germany.
Dönnhoff is a centuries-old winery. The first mention of the name Dönnhoff dates back to 1761. They currently have about 28 hectares of vines between 15 and 65 years old planted in sandstone, slate and eroded volcanic rock soils. 80% of the vines are of the Riesling variety with varieties such as Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris growing alongside.
The grapes used to make this Dönnhoff Riesling are harvested manually and come from vines in the Nahe region that grow on stony and eroded volcanic soils composed of slate and quartz. When the grapes reach the winery, they are gently pressed and the resulting must is fermented and matured in stainless steel vats and in large oak barrels, creating a classic, fresh and well-defined Riesling.

Dönnhoff Riesling 2017 is a dry white wine that evokes the aroma of apples and apricots on the nose with a hint of fennel and anise. On the palate it is fresh, lingering and mineral.
