About Domaine De Marcoux Côtes-du-Rhône
Domaine De Marcoux Côtes-du-Rhône is a red wine made in Côtes du Rhône (France) by Domaine De Marcoux with the Garnacha variety.
Domaine De Marcoux is a family winery on an estate dating back to 1344. Although they have produced high quality wines for more than five generations, in 1991, sisters Catherine and Sophie Armenier took steps to further protect and enhance the Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Rhone regions using ecological agriculture (ECOCERT). As a result, the wines reflect the maximum expression of the terroir.
Domaine De Marcoux Côtes-du-Rhône comes from vineyards planted in alluvial and clay soils. The vines are ecologically cultivated using biodynamic preparations to maintain the perfect balance of the strain. Harvesting is carried out manually, with a first grape selection taking place in the vineyard. The grapes are then quickly taken to the winery in 50 kg boxes.
In the winery, the Domaine De Marcoux Côtes-du-Rhône grapes pass over the selection table. They are then destemmed and pressed for fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts at a controlled temperature and with daily pump overs. The wine then ages in concrete tanks for 10 months.
Domaine De Marcoux Côtes-du-Rhône is a red wine that stands out for its aromatic potential and for the elegance and delicacy of its texture on the palate.
