It is a unique variety that thrives in the Canary Islands' subtropical climate on nutrient-rich volcanic soils, distinguished by its sweet and delicate flavour, firm and creamy texture, and thin skin speckled with black spots. It remains on the plant longer, which allows it to reach a higher degree of ripeness; it also contains more water, making it juicier and more flavourful than the average banana.
