About Château Lascombes
Château Lascombes is a red wine made from the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, varieties with a small amount of Petit Verdot. It is made by Château Lascombes in the AOC Margaux in Bordeaux, France.
Château Lascombes is a very old winery dating back to the 17th century and located in Margaux. They have 120 hectares of vineyards in the AOC Margaux and 10 hectares in the Haut-Médoc denomination in Bordeaux. This is one of the largest vineyards of the 1895 Crus Classés and has very varied soils, with clay, limestone and stony soils.
The wines made in the Château age for 18 to 20 months, depending on the vintage. In the winery, mostly traditional materials are used, which gives it a classic and modest character.
Château Lascombes is a Grand Cru Classé from Margaux that expresses a perfect balance of power, elegance, softness and rich tannins. This wine’s aromas will become more complex over the years as the structure evolves to be more docile. This wine promises to be at its best for up to 30 years.

2015 | Château Lascombes 2015 is a red wine with pleasant aromas of black forest gateau on the nose, accompanied by notes of cassis, violets and earthy nuances. On the palate it is concentrated and elegant with a great intensity of flavours. A modest red with an underlined earthy note and a long and flavoursome finish. |
