Casa Belfi Bianco is an white wine made by Casa Belfi with Incrocio manzoni and Chardonnay in the IGT Delle Venezie, in Veneto (Italy).
Founded in 1999, Casa Belfi is located in the town of San Polo di Pieve (Treviso). There Maurizio Donadi and his wife Fabiola, in collaboration with the producer Albino Albani , focus on recovering native varieties from organic and biodynamic practices. They are natural products which are characterized by low yield in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the winery.
Casa Belfi Bianco comes from vineyards that don’t use chemical products and following organic and biodynamic practices. For this purpose, continuous research is carried out in order to accompany and favor the rhythms and needs of nature. The grape is harvested manually when it reaches optimum ripeness.
In the winery, the grapes of Casa Belfi Biancoa undergo spontaneous fermentation with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks and amphorae for 3 days. The wine then ages in these same tanks and amphorae on the lees for a few months. Finally the wine is bottled without clarifying or filtration and without the addition of sulphites.
Casa Belfi Bianco is an white wine with a strong personality which, through minimal intervention and maximum respect, manages to highlight the characteristics of each variety.
