About Canasta 20 años Cream
Canasta 20 años Cream is a generous wine created by Williams & Humbert, a winery with more than 100 years of history and whose owners participated in the creation of what is now known as Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xérès-Sherry.
The name Canasta 20 años Cream refers to the traditional wicker baskets that were used to harvest the grapes. Baskets that are still used to collect the grapes at their optimum ripeness and ensure that they arrive in the best conditions.
Once in the cellar, the grapes harvested to make Canasta 20 años Cream are pressed solely using the pressure of gravity. In this way the first-pressing is obtained, a juice that undergoes ageing, and that thanks to the dynamic system of criaderas and soleras in oak casks for a minimum of 20 years, the wine is able to reach the desired maturity.
Canasta 20 years Cream is a very exclusive sherry wine, whose 20 years of ageing bring the elegance, expressiveness and complexity of a generous wine that is worthy of tasting. |
