Firm and round-bodied. Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours: nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry. Long and warming finish.

About Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky

Over its period of maturation, the Balvenie DoubleWood is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. While the traditional casks soften and add character, the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour.
