Alges is a red wine made by Clos Pons. Clos Pons' identity is marked by the land and the climate. This winery strive to express the rich sensations of the earth in each one of their bottles.
Their philosophy of work on the vines is characterised by respect for the natural product. Therefore, they follow organic farming guidelines and opt for low yields, in order to extract the maximum quality and expression.
This wine is made with Tempranillo, Grenache and Syrah grapes from vines located at 500 metres altitude. The harvest is manual and the grapes are collected in 15 kg boxes. Lastly, this wine ages for 9 months in new 1st and 2nd year oak barrels, 80% French and 20% American.

Tasting notes Alges

Jammy red fruits, liquorice and cherries take centre stage, with mineral notes and spices in the background and an expressive acidity making this wine fresh and enjoyable. A great balance between all the elements is what makes this appetising and very sexy wine, encouraging you to refill glass after glass.

Powerful, balanced, fragrant and fruity. Expressions of pure fruit are felt in the nose, surrounded by light touches of wood, resulting in an elegant and subtle wine.
