About Adaro de Pradorey

There are wines that are born to tell a story. Not a tale of dates or accolades, but those that linger in memory: of a family gathered around a table, conversations that stretch on without a glance at the clock, and the remembrance of someone who left an indelible mark. Adaro de Pradorey originates precisely from there, as a tribute to Javier Cremades de Adaro, the founder of a project that continues to grow with the same passion with which it began.
 
In the Real Sitio de Ventosilla (Burgos, Spain), a place steeped in centuries of history at the heart of the Ribera del Duero, the Cremades family has crafted an understanding of wine where tradition and respect for the land walk hand in hand. Their vineyards, situated at over 800 metres above sea level, thrive under the continental climate that dictates the rhythm of the grape: harsh winters, radiant summers, and a slow maturation that brings depth and elegance. Sustainable viticulture and manual harvesting are part of the meticulous care evident from the very first sip.
 
Adaro de Pradorey is a tempranillo with the character of the grand wines of Ribera del Duero, yet with an approachable and enveloping expression. Its ageing in French, American, and Central European oak barrels imparts complexity without overshadowing the fruit's character. A red wine where deep aromas emerge, a silky texture, and an evolution that beckons one to linger a little longer, akin to those conversations that begin with a glass and end up becoming a cherished memory.
