About Absolut Vodka

Absolut Vodka was first launched in New York in 1979. It soon became the talk of the town, in the US and eventually in the rest of the world. However, the recipe behind the pure and natural taste of Absolut stretches back more than just 30 years. Like the 18th century medicine flask found in an antique store in Stockholm that gave inspiration to the iconic Absolut Vodka bottle.
Absolut Vodka is made exclusively with natural ingredients, without added sugars. Water comes from a deep well in Åhus that is protected against impurities, and winter grain is used that grows under the Swedish snow. Durum wheat is used, and fertilizers are almost not used at all.
