About Celler Kripta Gran Reserva
Celler Kripta Gran Reserva is a blend of macabeo, xarel·lo and parellada, from vineyards over 60 years old. This is a "cava brut nature", with no expedition liqueur added. It rests in the cellar with a cork stopper for a minimum of 48 months before disgorgement.
The bottle is reminiscent of roman amphora, the label is the work of the artist Rafael Bartolozzi.
Limited production, numbered bottles.

Celler Kripta Gran Reserva 2016 is a creamy and mature cava. On the nose, prominent aromas of ripe apple and pear, with a hint of almond, stand out. Notes of pastry and light toasting also appear. On the palate, it presents a fine, well-integrated bubble and unfolds its delightful complexity accompanied by a balanced acidity that imparts freshness. A cava with a long, very elegant finish.

Very long and complex aftertaste where vanilla stands out on a toasted and butter background from the long ageing process. Straw colour with golden hues. Slow-evolving, fine and persistent bubbles.
