Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva is a sparkling Brut Reserva crafted by Celler Kripta-Agustí Torelló Mata using the varietals Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada within the D.O. Cava region (Catalonia).
 
A trailblazer in the production of cava in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, since 1959 the family-run Agustí Torelló Mata has excelled in creating a portfolio of high-quality wines that articulate the distinct personality of the Penedès region. Mediterranean-style cavas of exceptional quality have earned them a prominent position in the international wine industry.
 
Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva is crafted from the three traditional indigenous cava varieties: Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada. The vineyard practices sustainable agriculture with strict oversight throughout the year and by limiting yields. Selection and harvesting are performed manually within the vineyard itself.
 
In the cellar, the grapes of Celler Kripta Bayanus Reserva are vinified separately before a classic blend is created. Subsequently, the second fermentation occurs in the bottle, followed by a maturation period of 24 months prior to disgorgement.

2018 Agustí Torelló Mata 375 Brut Reserva 2018 is a fruity sparkling wine with aromas of white fruit, balsamic notes and a herbal base. On the palate it’s dry, fresh and agreeable. A creamy Cava with sweet notes and a slightly mineral finish.
