About Celia Vizcarra
Celia 2009 is a red wine blend of 95% Tinto fino grapes complemented by 5% Grenache produced by Bodegas Vizcarra, one of the most promising wineries in the Ribera del Duero, becoming increasingly well-known and gaining prizes and prestige. The D.O. Ribera del Duero has recently been crowned the best winemaking region in the world 2012 by the Wine Star Awards, awards given by the prestigious publication Wine Enthusiast.
2009 | Wide, fresh and enveloping in the mouth, with high quality, ripe, polished tannins. Well balanced on its broad palate. Finishes with elegant toasted notes. Elegant and delicate, subtle, full of hints. Deep picota cherry colour with violet rim. Clean and bright. Fine and abundant tears stain the glass. Highly intense in the nose. A very aromatic and elegant red wine. Fine notes of ripe red fruit stand out together with toasted, smoky and slightly spicy notes that make this wine complex and very attractive. |
