Wines from the Autonomous Community of Navarre

The wines from Navarre are those produced in the region that covers the area from the basin of the Ebro River to Pamplona. There are five areas in Navarre that produce wines: Valdizarbe, Tierra Estella, Ribera Alta, Baja Montaña and Ribera Baja. Though rosé by tradition, wines are now produced in almost all their forms (white, rosé, red and sweet wines). Especially noteworthy are Pago wines, with their distinguished quality. Among its white wines, Viura and Chardonnay are the predominant grapes, and in the case of reds and rosés, Grenache, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon.
