About Sabaté i Coca Mosset Brut Nature

The quest for excellence is an unrelenting pursuit of perfection. Technologies can often assist in achieving this aim, but it is primarily a mindset for life. In the case of Marcel Sabaté i Coca, a vintner located in the Bitlles Valley (Penedès), his relentless search to capture the essence of the terroir in its purest form is tireless. So much so that he has dedicated himself to the meticulous study of the 66 plots he owns, identifying 18 distinct types of soil, each managed differently to extract the best from every grape.

A member of the collective brand Corpinnat, he not only conveys the quality of Penedès sparkling wines with extended aging but also succeeds in reflecting the personality of each of his terroirs. Under the name Sabaté i Coca Mosset Brut Nature, he presents a sparkling wine made from organic grapes sourced from eight different plots. A blend of xarel·lo, macabeo, and parellada crafted using the traditional champenoise method with secondary fermentation in the bottle and a minimum aging of 40 months on the lees before disgorging.

Thus, as a result of the thorough process of parcel and variety identification that has always marked the perfectionist work of this bold vintner, Sabaté i Coca Mosset Brut Nature is a pure expression of the terroir from which it originates.
