About Juvé & Camps Reserva Familia Rosé

There's something enchanting about cava, isn't there? Yet few are aware that it all began thanks to visionaries who drew inspiration from champagne. This is where the Juvé family name comes into play, a name synonymous with tradition in Penedès for centuries. However, what truly set Juvé & Camps apart was their bold decision to embrace something that seemed risky at the time: Brut Nature. In an era dominated by the sweeter Brut, they dared to produce a sparkling wine with no added sugar, pure and authentic. Interestingly, this gem, initially crafted solely for family consumption—the iconic Reserva de la Familia—not only became their flagship cava but also paved the way for the Brut Nature to achieve international acclaim.

While preserving the authenticity passed down through generations, yet always looking forward, Juvé & Camps delights us with a revamped version of their most iconic cava: Reserva de la Familia Rosé. Crafted from xarel·lo, pinot noir, and garnacha tinta varieties sourced from their own organic vineyards, the grapes undergo a meticulous vinification process in the winery to produce the base wine. Then, following the champenoise method, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where it rests on lees for a minimum of 30 months. Finally, the disgorgement is performed without adding any liqueur d'expédition.

Reserva de la Familia Rosé is a tribute to tradition, indeed, but with that daring touch that breaks the mould and challenges convention. Pure elegance with that unexpected twist that so distinctly identifies the Juvé & Camps family.
