About Enrique Mendoza Las Quebradas
Enrique Mendoza Las Quebradas is a red wine made by the Enrique Mendoza winery in Alfás del Pi, D.O. Alicante.
Enrique Mendoza is a winery that was born from its owner’s passion for wine, when he decided to resume the family tradition in the nineteen seventies and produce wine for his own consumption. Today this passion has grown into two wineries, one for winemaking and another for aging, and with one of the most complete line of wines that has positioned itself in the national and international market.
Enrique Mendoza has always understood that the priority should be taking care of the vineyards, and thus practices a viticulture that respects the environment, applying no chemical herbicides or insecticides.
Enrique Mendoza Las Quebradas is a wine made with Monastrell grapes from the oldest strains on the Las Quebradas property. A vineyard located 500 meters above sea level, on caliche stone soils (a stony soil that is poor in organic matter). The wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.

2015 | Enrique Mendoza Las Quebradas 2015 is a mature, complex and profound wine. This vintage displays all the character of the variety, with a great deal of red fruit on the nose, and with very elegant notes of aging. On the palate it is juicy, with volume and a lingering and surprisingly fresh finish. |
