Anna de Codorníu is undoubtedly Codorníu’s flagship sparkling wine and is known for being the first cava to deviate from the traditional coupage of Parellada, Xarel·lo and Macabeo and introduce the Chardonnay variety. But if Anna de Codorníu is known for one thing, it is for its young, fresh and modern image. A design that fits perfectly with its productions and that now goes much further with the rosé version. Anna de Codorniu Brut Rosé Sleever comes in a new generation personalised bottle. The bottle is dressed with a sleever, a type of packaging with transformational powers. This sleever is the perfect addition to the bottle, giving it a very inviting appearance. This is how Codorniu, an authentic 16th century cava cathedral in the heart of the D.O. Cava in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, opens its range of products up to a young, modern audience with a desire to enjoy life.
Anna de Codorniu Brut Rosé Sleever comes from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards. Each variety is vinified separately and after blending, it undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle following the Champenoise method together with the liqueur de tirage (a mixture of sugar and selected yeasts), where it is aged for a minimum of 12 months in contact with the lees. It is then disgorged to extract the sediments deposited during the second fermentation and the expedition liqueur is added. Finally, the bottle is capped with a cork stopper and ready to show off with its sleever.
As the rosé version of Codorníu’s flagship product, Anna de Codorniu Brut Rosé Sleever combines the modernity and innovation of the design with the experience and tradition of the house. A most glamorous toast.
