Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2015 is a champagne with a dazzling bouquet where the intensity of the Pinot Noir takes centre stage, bringing notes of acidic red fruits and juicy yellow fruits (vineyard peach, mirabelle plum) accompanied by aromas of dried fruits and smoky and spicy nuances. The palate is dynamic and meaty, with all the power and maturity of Verzy Pinot Noir. A Champagne with a finish of concentrated roasted fruit and saline flavours that is wonderfully generous and pleasing.

About Louis Roederer Brut Vintage

Known as one of the great names in Champagne, Louis Roederer was a visionary of his time. While other houses bought grapes, he was determined to cultivate his own vineyards, analysing the character of each plot and starting from the premise that a great wine has its origin in the soil. An idea that, although nowadays is very widely followed, in the mid-nineteenth century was considered eccentric. Always in pursuit of excellence, today, Louis Roederer Champagne has become an exclusive group of wineries that, although independent, share the same philosophy of excellence.

Productions like Louis Roederer Brut Vintage, a sparkling wine from the Verzenay Grand Cru, are made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines planted on clay-limestone soils. 37% of the wines are vinified in wood with a weekly cap plunge and there is no malolactic fermentation. A second fermentation in the bottle involves an average of 4 years of maturation on its lees and 6 months of resting after disgorgement.

Considering that Louis Roederer Brut Vintage is only produced in good vintages, this champagne is the perfect expression of the characteristics of its terroir and vintage year. The perfect toast that radiates excellence.
