Viña Encina Tinto Tempranillo is a red kosher wine from the D.O. Castilla-La Mancha produced by the Elvi Wines winery. This is a single variety wine made with Tempranillo grapes, the most used variety in Spain.
After being harvested, the grapes used for Viña Encina Tinto Tempranillo are left to undergo cold pre-ferment maceration, which allows for a better extraction of colour and flavour. Following this, alcoholic fermentation takes place for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 19º. The grapes then finally macerate for 8 more days, during which various soft pump overs occur to achieve desired volume.
Elvi Wines is a winery specialised in the production of kosher wines. The winery collaborates with various wineries across many wine regions of Spain.
