Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo

Vermouth. 12 months in foudres.
Noilly Prat Rouge Vermouth is a semi-sweet, spiced infusion boasting a vibrant ruby hue (with mahogany highlights). Olfactorily, it's intricate, with nuances of clove and floral notes (lavender). On the palate, it's exceedingly delicate, hinting at bitter cocoa with a profoundly rich undertone. It's simply potent yet exquisitely refined.
About Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo
Spain, Sri Lanka, Ecuador, Madagascar, Venezuela… A circumnavigation of the globe may well be achieved in a glass of Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo!
From Marseillan, a quaint fishing village in the south of France, the legendary Maison Noilly Prat crafts this vermouth, infusing it with nearly thirty herbs and spices sourced globally. Spanish orange, Indian cinnamon, Ecuadorian cinchona bark, and Venezuelan cacao are among the botanicals employed in the concoction of this infusion. Specifically, Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo is part of a collection that includes four other vermouths, all developed from white wines. These wines form the foundation of the French house's production, where the reception of wines and the addition of neutral spirit are critical. Without alcohol, it would be exceedingly challenging to extract the full essence of the herbs and spices that are left to macerate in the wine (which has previously been aged for around 12 months in oak vats). The amalgamation of botanicals and alcohol will last about three weeks, until the desired essence is ultimately achieved in Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo.
Since its inception in 1955, Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo has become an emblematic symbol. Indeed, the Maison Noilly Prat is renowned for the invention of dry white vermouth (an innovation attributed to Joseph Noilly in the early 20th century). Nevertheless, we encourage you to give their red version a chance with Vermut Noilly Prat Rojo. We assure you, you will not regret it.
