About Trediberri Barolo
"The Three Musketeers", Alexandre Dumas' famous literary work that combines action, adventure and memorable characters, is a timeless classic that continues to be read and appreciated around the world. Three brave and charismatic musketeers, each with his own personality and unique skills, always work as a team. In the same spirit, the three founders of Trediberri (which translates as the Berri Three) share their passion for winemaking and work together to produce quality wines in Berri, a small village located in the westernmost part of La Morra (Piedmont). Formed by Federico Oberto, his son Nicola and his friend Vladimiro Rimbaldi, from 2007 onwards they joined forces and resources to produce exclusive wines from historic crus.
One of its most valuable jewels is Trediberri Barolo, a red wine made from the indigenous Nebbiolo variety from an undisputed "grand cru" in La Morra, specifically from Berri and Capalot. Based on absolute respect for the vineyard and 100% organic farming, the grapes are harvested by hand at the optimum moment of ripening. In the winery, the grapes are selected, destemmed and fermented in cement tanks for 12 to 14 days. Afterwards, maceration is carried out post fermentation for about a week. Finally, the wine is aged in oak "botti" with variable capacities (25-52 hl) for approximately 20 months.
In a perfect balance between power and freshness, Trediberri Barolo is a red wine that is neither full-bodied nor strong in alcohol content. An authentic Barolo from these three great "gentlemen of the vineyard", whose elegance and vivacity make it an entirely unique wine.
