About Familia Torres Fransola

Familia Torres Fransola is a white wine from D.O. Penedès produced by Familia Torres, a winery that, generation after generation, has passed down the secret of the production of its great wines and love of the earth.

This wine is made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, grown from vines at Finca de Fransola which is located at an altitude of 550 metres, in the area of Santa María de Miralles.

As for the production, the partial fermentation takes place in new American and French oak barrels and, afterwards, it ages for 8 months.

Familia Torres Fransola 2022 emerges as an effervescent white wine, youthful and invigorating, ideal for those in pursuit of a light, yet delightful beverage to tantalize the taste buds. Olfactorily, it unfurls an enchanting array of aromas with distinct green apple and citrus notes, interwoven with hints of white blossoms and a delicate whisper of spices. Upon tasting, its silky texture glides effortlessly across the palate, unveiling a cornucopia of fruity flavors against a backdrop of minerality that defines its distinctive profile. Indeed, it is a wine to be savored with each and every sip.
2017 Torres Fransola 2017 is an aromatic, dry and structured white wine. This vintage intensely shows the fruity notes on the nose and in the mouth, it gains a little volume and silkiness.
2013 Fresh and sweet palate, very broad with defining fruit aromas (vineyard peaches and summer melon) that are complemented by hints of vanilla and toast that are acquired during the aging.

Pale yellow golden colour with green reflections.

Intense fruit and spice aromas with a background of new oak.
