With a deep oak hue, The Macallan Art is Flower reveals intense aromas of dried fruits, raisins, and fig on the nose, accompanied by delicate notes of polished oak, fresh cherry, orange, almonds, and molasses. On the palate, it is sweet, enveloping, and balanced, with hints of sweet oak, raisins, vanilla, ginger, fresh apple, and a subtle whisper of loose leaf tea. The finish is long, rich, and full, leaving a warm and lingering sensation that invites another experience.

About The Macallan Art is Flower

In 1902, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Scottish architect, designer, and watercolourist, the foremost exponent of Art Nouveau in Scotland, delivered a lecture on poetry. In it, he stated the following: 
 
«Art is the flower - life is the green leaf / Let every artist strive to make their flower a beautiful living entity - something that convinces the world there can be - there are things more precious - more beautiful, more enduring than life. 
But to achieve this, you must offer living flowers, of beautiful colours, flowers that rise above the green leaf, flowers that are not dead, not dying, not artificial, real flowers that spring from your own soul, not even cut flowers, you must offer the flowers of the art within you, the symbols of all that is noble, beautiful, and inspiring, flowers that will often transform a colourless and joyless life into something lively and reflective».

The Macallan Art is Flower marks another milestone as the pinnacle of expression and quality in the renowned single malts, but on this occasion, the house has opted for maturation in European oak casks, specifically from the sherry-producing bodegas Valdespino, who supply the house with aged and seasoned vessels imbued with the sherry that has for years bathed their walls. However, this is not all. As has become customary with The Macallan, this exceptional quality is maintained right from the origin, with the production itself at their Speyside estate, where the famous small stills, so characteristic of the brand, are used, making all their products (and especially The Macallan Art is Flower) a true masterpiece.
