Tasting notes St-Germain Liqueur 70cl

Liqueurs (70 cl.).

Its flavours are delicate and powerful at the same time. The notes of citrus are noticed along with notes of green grapes, exotic fruits (Lichy) and flowers. Balanced bitter and sweet notes. Nice finish with a balsamic aftertaste.

Bright golden yellow.

Intense. Its floral and herbal aromas are released along with subtle fruity notes of grapes and light touches of citrus (grapefruit).

About St-Germain Liqueur

St. Germain is a French liqueor made of elderflowers, a shrub that grows in wet areas near the Alps and blooms for 4-6 weeks a year. It is made in a completely traditional and artisanal way. The flowers are macerated with grape liquor (mainly from white grapes) from the area of ââBurgogne. After maceration and the distillation takes place and then a part of the liquor is distilled again. Finally, the liquor is assembled and a small amount of cane sugar is added in order to highlight the natural floral aroma. It received the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in two consecutive years. It is recomended to be served on the rocks. Try adding two drops of it in a gin tonic!
