DYC Whiskies

Whiskies with a Scottish soul and a Spanish touch.

Segovian businessman Nicomedes García Gómez had an unusual idea. In 1959 he founded DYC (Destilerías y Crianza del Whisky) fulfilling his dream of being the first whisky distiller in Spain. This is how DYC was born, the first Spanish whisky to be made using the traditional Scottish method. Nicomedes’ idea was innovative, and he also chose his location very well. The distillery lies in Segovia, where the climate is very similar to Scotland. The quality of the grains in Castilla y León, the proximity to the river and the extraordinary purity of the water have resulted in a collection of whiskies that are bold, with a Scottish spirit at the same time as being proud of their Spanish touch. If you haven’t tried them yet, now is the time!
