About Rosendo Esteve Dos Germans Blanc Cupatge

There are wines that remind you why it's worth looking beyond the usual names. In Gandesa, at the heart of Terra Alta (Tarragona, Spain), a small family-run winery has been crafting wine for over seventy years with their hands in the soil and their eyes on the next generation. This is where Dos Germans was born, a project through which Albert and Rosendo Esteve decided in 2016 to continue the family story in their own way: respecting what they've learned while giving new impetus to their understanding of the land.
 
The story began in 1952, when their grandfather Rosendo Esteve Font built his own winery to produce the wines from his vineyards. Today, it is the third and fourth generations who work together among the vines and in the winery, maintaining that connection with the white Garnacha, red Garnacha, Macabeo, and Cariñena that are part of the landscape and their own memory. A family that continues to do things at their own pace, yet never stops moving forward.
 
Dos Germans Blanc Cupatge is born from two family estates, La Serra and Tossal, where white Garnacha and Chardonnay come together to create a young, fresh, and expressive white wine. It ferments in stainless steel and remains on its lees for two months, gaining texture and depth without losing the lightness that makes you want to discover it from the very first moment. It is no coincidence that in its 2025 vintage, it won the Gran Vinari d'Or 2026 for Best Young White Wine of Catalonia.
 
And perhaps that's the most beautiful part: that a white wine born from the daily work of a family can end up drawing attention far beyond their vineyards. Rosendo Esteve Dos Germans Blanc Cupatge is a bottle to place at the centre of a table, open without too much ceremony, and discover that sometimes the greatest finds are much closer and more accessible than we imagined.
