Today, many producers, including Poggio Landi, continue to champion this craft, encapsulating centuries of tradition and history. Only the finest vineyards, scattered across various areas of the village, yield Poggio Landi Brunello di Montalcino. The estate is situated in the most esteemed regions, at altitudes ranging from 174 to 500 meters, where a diverse tapestry of soils including limestone, marl, and stone converge. The climate here tends towards the Mediterranean, predominantly warm and arid, with sparse rainfall mainly confined to spring and autumn. This results in highly concentrated and well-balanced grape clusters, with ample sugar content (to achieve the desired alcohol levels) and tannins (to lend structure to the wine).
