Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Pureza is a white wine made from the Moscatel de Alejandría variety, a result of the effort and work by the Casa Agrícola winery in Alicante.

Casa Agrícola represents the most personal efforts of Pepe Mendoza, a winemaker from Bodegas Enrique Mendoza; a project that arose from his personal desire to create craft wines with a strong Mediterranean character based on the terroir and native varieties of Alicante.

Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Pureza is an exclusive wine from the east coast winemaker’s collection. It is made solely with Moscatel, a variety that is very resistant to drought and that adapts perfectly to different soils, and a strain that adapts perfectly to the Mediterranean climate and to the low altitude above sea level.

Yet if this wine stands out for anything, it is for the treatment it receives in the cellar. Just like a red wine, Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Pureza ferments and macerates with its skins and stems in earthenware jars for a period of 60 days. The wine then rests for 5 months together with its lees.

Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Pureza is a fresh wine that is very peculiar, in that, on being treated like a red wine, it displays all the purity of the Mediterranean in a very expressive way.

Its slight tannic structure hints at a prolonged ageing potential, revealing its mineral essence. This wine is recommended for its unique combination of floral and citrus aromas in perfect harmony, as well as its ability to evolve positively over time.
