About Partida Creus Vinel·lo

Partida Creus Vinel·lo is a red wine produced by Celler Partida Creus in Bonastre (Baix Penedés), Tarragona. 

 

Celler Partida Creus is a small winery created by Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, in an industrial warehouse that was renovated with recycled materials. Partners and producers of Slow Food, they also apply this philosophy to the vines. They respect nature to the maximum extent and recover old traditions in the lands where they cultivate. Small plots with a narrow plantation scheme, avoiding the use of invasive mechanical work. They avoid using chemical treatments and focus on biodynamic cycles and moon phases. This way they achieve a very limited production of grapes with an excellent biological quality.

 

Partida Creus Vinel·lo is a wine made from Grenache, Ull de Perdiu, Sumoll, Queixal de Llop, Carignan, Garrut and Trepat, from their own vineyards planted on clayey-calcareous soils.

The harvest is carried out by hand. At the winery, the grapes macerate with the stems and after the stomping, the musts ferment one after the other. They are added subsequently, extending the wine's fermentation as a whole. Native yeasts are used in the fermentation. The malolactic fermentation is spontaneous, with native bacteria. Before it is bottled, is left to stand for 7 months in stainless steel deposits. Without added sulphur dioxide.
