About Parparoussis Oinari

In the idyllic Peloponnese (Greece), where the sea breeze mingles with the warmth of the Mediterranean sun, a wine is born that embodies the passion of generations: Parparoussis Oinari. Since 1974, the Parparoussis family has transformed their family estate in Bozaitika, Patras, into a sanctuary where tradition and innovation converge, preserving the unique character of indigenous Greek varieties.
 
The Parparoussis winery reflects the soul of a family devoted to wine: Athanassios Parparoussis initiated this legacy, which today continues with his daughters Erifili, an oenologist and viticulturist, and Dimitra, an economist, who together blend expertise, love for the land, and respect for their family heritage. Their own vineyards, located in Gymno Nemea and Western Achaia, alongside collaboration with local producers, ensure that each bottle is a true reflection of the Peloponnese.
 
Parparoussis Oinari is a red wine crafted from the agiorgitiko and mavrodaphne varieties, aged for six months in new French oak barrels. Its classic 20-day extraction vinification enhances a deep red hue with ruby highlights, while the nose is filled with aromas of violet and cherry, intertwined with spices and vanilla notes.
 
This wine invites you to experience moments that blend sophistication with the warmth of everyday life.
