Kraken Black Spiced Rum draws inspiration from the legend of the Kraken, an epic creature from Norse mythology said to dwell in the ocean's abyssal depths. It is typically depicted as a gargantuan sea monster, with colossal tentacles capable of ensnaring ships and other marine life. This tale has been orally passed down through the ages, remains entrenched in the collective psyche of seafarers, and is vividly resurrected on stormy nights when the fiercest tempests rage at sea.
 
The entity that has inspired the legend of the Kraken might be a giant squid residing in the extreme depths of the sea, within a dark abyss where sunlight fails to penetrate.
 
On one occasion, a ship laden with barrels of spiced rum traversing the Caribbean Sea was viciously assailed by the massive tentacles of a colossal beast, dragging it down to the ocean's depths. The ship, its crew, and its cargo were never seen again. From this violent encounter, only one survivor was found: a barrel of rum stained by the ink of the enigmatic creature. Is it fact? Is it fiction? All we know is that this barrel came to be known as Kraken Rum.
