Heaven's Door Tennessee Straight Bourbon is a bourbon of rich and enveloping character, with a warm nose reminiscent of freshly baked bread, buttery popcorn, honey, and ripe fruit. On the palate, it unfolds a sweet entry of caramel, vanilla, and maple syrup, which soon gives way to white pepper, rye bread, cinnamon, and nutmeg, against a backdrop of toasted oak. Its broad and silky texture leads to a warm and lingering finish, marked by toffee, brown sugar, and spices. A comforting and complex bourbon, the kind that seems made to accompany a quiet conversation when the night has found its rhythm.

Heaven’s Door Tennessee Straight Bourbon emerges from the vision of Bob Dylan, bringing his unique perspective on music, art, and craftsmanship to the realm of bourbon. A bottle that seems to remind us that the gates of heaven can also possess a delicate and sophisticated flavour.
 
The project was conceived in 2015 when Dylan partnered with entrepreneur Marc Bushala with an unconventional idea: to create a brand where whiskey and art could genuinely coexist. They found their niche in Pleasureville, Kentucky, amidst hills, forests, lakes, and ancient structures, in a distillery that cultivates its own traditional grains and is committed to increasingly sustainable production. And Dylan is genuinely involved: he participates in the development and tastings of the spirits and is the creator of the iron gates etched onto the bottles. A rather authentic way of demonstrating that the times are indeed changing, even in a world as steeped in tradition as bourbon.
 
After at least six years in new American oak barrels, this Straight Bourbon arrives with the depth that only time can bestow. The corn imparts a warm sweetness, while the rye introduces a spice that keeps the ensemble lively and imparts character. On the palate, it is expansive, silky, and enveloping, with the toasted wood and spicy notes gradually unfolding to leave a long and comforting finish. It offers a semblance of shelter from the storm: that small haven one finds when outside everything remains in motion, and inside, for a moment, we seek only a delicious instant of introspection, whether accompanied by music, conversation, and a sip of this elegant bourbon.
