Guajiro Ron Miel

Tasting notes Guajiro Ron Miel 1 Liter
Rhum (1 Liter).
Ron Miel Guajiro is an amber-coloured honey rum with a coppery rim that offers complex aromas on the nose with balsamic, floral, candied fruit and sugar cane notes. The palate is sweet and silky, with a pleasant citrus touch. An authentic traditional Canarian honey rum which is long and fragrant, with a subtle bitter finish.
About Guajiro Ron Miel
Following the strictest and most precise Canarian tradition, and always with the highest quality and the best ingredients, Ron Miel Guajiro comes directly from the Fortunate Islands, the maximum expression of this drink.
Honey and natural high quality alcohol form the base of Ron Miel Guajiro. This drink, produced with great care and attention to detail in every stage, is made by Cocal, one of the oldest distilleries in La Laguna, Tenerife. Traditionally in this area, in the extreme northwest, it was common to earn a living working in the sugar cane plantations, which were later distilled. Several of them joined together in 1948 which led to the founding of the San Bartolomé de Tejina Distillery, a 3,648m2 company that would later be renamed Cooperativa Canaria de Aguardientes y Licores (this is where the acronym Cocal comes from) and is currently part of the Arehucas group. In general, honey rum is one of the most traditional drinks that has its origins in the discovery of America, when Columbus and his crew discovered sugar cane and all that could be achieved by distilling it. This was just the first step. England and America, where the first distilleries were set up, were joined by the Canary Islands, where it is said that the monks of Arucas were already distilling alcohol in the 18th century.
Undoubtedly there is no better drink that illustrates and represents the Canarian spirit. They say that Cocal has a rum for everyone. What do you think? Is Ron Miel Guajiro your rum?
